Hello, its been quite some time since I used my personal computer to render, I've been using a ryzen 9 3900x at work and now I'm used to it not just being fast at rendering but also 3ds Max feels so much more snappy. I've got a pair of 2670s at home an while they are fine, now that I tested them after using the PC at work, I feel I need an upgrade. Money is quite tight at the moment so I've seen my options:

1. Same everything except 2x xeon 2696 v2, maybe upgrade from 32GB 1333Ghz to 32-64GB 1600-1833Ghz   (280 for the cpus + 150 for 64GB ram)

2. I've seen some chinese motherboards and xeon 2678 v3 for not very much, could use DDR3 or upgrade to DDR4 depending on the motherboard.   (172 for the board + 180 for the cpus, keeping my current ram)

So my questions are...
would I Notice any difference in render times going ddr3 to ddr4?
Ive noticed that my personal computer takes a lot more to start interactive o normal render, once it starts it is not that bad. Maybe even considering an nvme ssd may help?
regarding 3dsMax, What would be best, can I expect an increase in performace from my actual setup?
In general what do you guys think is the best option?

thanks!
