Chaos Corona for 3ds Max > [Max] I need help!
How can i create axonometric view like this?
buncha:
I tried using corona slicer material but the shadows get cut as well. in this example you can see that shadows are not cut while walls are..

here is my render. as you can see, shadows are halved as well as geometry.
and my 2nd question would be, there is this whitish border at the bottom of the walls, based on render elements it is coming from direct lighting. I am using orthographic camera mode, when i change to perspective it doesnt have that problem.
maru:
Here is how to use the slicer without affecting lighting: https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/articles/4956761514897-Corona-Slicer-Material-3ds-Max
See the point "7. Corona Slicer Material with "Cap sliced geometry" option enabled, "Override cap material" option disabled, and used with Corona Ray Switcher Material"
There is a material editor screenshot there explaining how to set it up.
As to the white lines: it could be the environment "leaking" through thin geometry. The solution would be to add thickness to the floor object (e.g. shell modifier) or add another layer of plane or box under the floor.
Aram Avetisyan:
Remember also that Slicer does not "like" non-enclosed volumes (planes), especially if there are many one in front of another from the POV. This can lead to shading artifacts. You can close (shell) the object to see if it fixes it.
