That lens flare effect is way too much

Both renders need color correction they are too "flat".

I think that's rather bland lightning choice, not something to salvage by ramping up tonality into raunchy post-pro.

Use better HDRi ? Get some direction into shadows.

juraj - pls where can one get the kind of HDRi you are talking about, that produce good shadows and without much hassles?
