wow, is this a scanned model? Would like to know more on how you did this, shading is superb.

Haha, you still have that shirt? I still remember you getting that from Vlado at EUE. Awkward moment, the hesitation from both sides was fenomonal.

Hi,

I also had this experience when the scene parcing was taking way too long with a simple scene with some proxy vegetation in it. I didn't have any error messages and the task manager also didn't show any problems.

It got solved when I rebooted my workstation since it was on for at least one constant week and maybe longer. Perhaps some people here also leave their workstations and\or renderslave permanentely on which causes these long scene parsing... Just a thought.

Do you have any idea why this proxy was "corrupted"? Have you tried to reproxy it again and was it ok then? Curious to know why it caused this problem.

You set the overall multiplier at 0.1 which I think you should also highlight since the default is set at 1.0

I only use cg-source hdri's and you can leave it at the default but PG hdri's you need to tweak I assume? Always a bit unclear why PG hdri's have to be set that low for "correct behaviour".

Hi,

I've found this tutorials which might bring a solution:

If you scroll down there's an explanation on how to do the dark rug material.

Lighting is just a simple HDRI, nothing else there.

Love it, Corona at it's best.

Or maybe the artist at his best ?

There were bit too many comments today complimenting the engine for visual quality of the artwork. Corona is great engine, that does what it should but it's not producing the nice projects today in gallery by itself...

If you used HDRi in [insert your other engine of choice] it would look like just like this...

Juraj, that's so true, but I also think that Corona is the perfect engine to make good artists even better. The natural talent of making good shots besides complex settings to achieve those is evaporating and Corona does this job awesomely. Not speaking of these images but as a general rule.

Hi,

I remember seeing you at the EUE event a few years ago. A blast to see what you did with Iray and your high end hardware setup for doing the job. Too bad to hear that it went that way with Delta Tracing. Good to hear you've managed to get your feet on another road which works for you. All the best.

If you want design connected quality why not ask them? I believe you can request furniture to be modelled by them. Don't know how much they charge but it's worth a shot I guess.

But is this job they will do in timely manner on personal request ? I thought it's like asking them what to make in near future. But if so..that would be great.

On their old site I remember they had the option to request this kind of service. I can't find it now on their new site and indeed they upgraded their site like you said so perhaps they skipped it... Still I'd contact them to see if it's still possible.
