No, during Standby problems with not responding programs, like max are known to stop the standby process and keep it in a limbo between going to standby and waiting for a process, which is preventing standby to terminate.
Afaik windows 8.1 fixed this.
Also, hibernation should not be affected, ita only standby.
And no NOTHING renders or executes during either standby or hibernation, also this is not a corona issue.
Lastly, why on earth would you want to standby during a render, aways pause or terminate it, to prevent crashes.
