Ornatrix Crash on Startup

I tried to replicate the x-form issue, but the distance map is not cooperating with the dense distribution settings in the Ox Hair from Guides rollout - I think we need a fix for this issue before I can reasonably debug the x-form issue.

Have we received any hot fixes from Corona Renderer (or Ornatrix) prepared for RC4 or sooner?

We have looked into the crash and unfortunately it seems to be crashing in 3ds Max itself. I have forwarded the report on to Autodesk and I will let you know when they get back to me regarding this.

The second issue you reported is still in our task list, but at this stage it looks unlikely that a fix will make it into v7.

Hi,

Thank you for your patience. We have been investigating your issue and we have found that this only seems to crash in 3ds Max 2020. Is it possible for you to switch to either the 2021 or 2022 version of 3ds Max? Overall, this seems to be a bug with Ornatrix and we have forwarded it to them. I hope this will be fixed soon by them.
