Or your client would.
I guess you could simply send this stand alone app to a client for example, and let them fine tune lights and tones to their own taste... :)
Oh ok ... but this would definitely be a no-go for us. We produce the images, we can't / don't want to ask our clients to do our job.

That being said, there will soon be standalone corona application that will let you adjust tonemapping as well as lightmix outside of 3ds Max.
Hello :)

Why not a PS or better, an Affinity Photo dedicated plugin instead ? :P

Hello,

Smoothing groups maybe ? I don't know how they name this in C4D, but at least in 3dsmax that's something users regularly forget about ;)

457
something like that for max would be cool=)
Yes, indeed :)

... or making LightMix presets exposed in some way so that render passes managers (RPM, Reindeer, Vexus ...) could operate with them, like they already do with render presets.

friends , as i say on the first post i need to good source and at least good tutor , not just discussion ...

Good morning,

Have you ever wondered that, if the answers don't satisfy you, it may be due to the question being wrong at the beginning ? Sorry to appear a bit "direct", but I'm a regular user on another (french) forum focused on archviz, and we often face questions like "what's the trick on making great images" ... think about it 1 minute, and you'll understand why this a bad question. If you don't, well ...

My 2 cents.

Well, not much time for testing for now, but be sure I'll give it a try when I can find some time ;)

Great ! thanks a lot for sharing this :)

Im working on a script that imports a folder full of .mat files, runs the corona converter and then resaves each of them back in a folder with a "_crn" suffix.
Hopefully this will be useful for quite a few people.

Ill keep you posted. shouldnt be more than a few hours or so as i have a fully functional alpha working at the moment. Ive tested it on importing then exporting 1000+ materials and it works a treat in a few moments :)

Sounds amazing - looking forward to testing that :)

Cool :)
I understand your need of Colimo-style things now !

465
Colimo has existed for a long time now, and funnily enough, I don't know one person using it in production.
A bit gadget IMHO, nice to play with things like that when you need to output a few images, but I bet it becomes more complicated with real world projects. Certainly worth investigating though.

I can't agree, 80% of my work is web configurators, and so i have to output hundreds of texture / shaders variations in the same ambiance picture...
A working colimo would be a serious plus, for me and all 3D guys i know that have to work for those kind of projects...
Kitchens, Bathrooms, floors, wallpapers, furnitures, and even Billardstables (i'm right now working on a billards project)...

Ok, for architecture / short films, it can be a funny gadget, not for a lot of more industrial projects

regards

Yup, I understand. That's why I ended with "certainly worth investigating though" ;)
In my CG friends, there's no one working on web configurators like you, hence my statement, really dependent of my own point of view. I'm just prudent with tools that look amazing on a YouTube video demo, but that are far less amazing once in production ... again, that doesn't mean there's nothing interesting to look :)
