Hi,

I can't get a bump effect on the gaps with the Corona Tile Map, in IR and final render. Is it supported ?

Hey there!

Are you plugging in a texture into the gap slot or are you trying to drive the bump with just a simple color?

If its the color way then unfortunately that won't work - the tile map / shader is kinda a bit different than a regular map and so the bump effect doesn't work unless you're plugging in textures into it. We will be looking at improving this behavior.

That said you can get it to work with "just colors" when you're using the UV space in the Tile shader AND you're plugging the C4D's filter shader right before you're plugging everything into the bump slot.

Hi Nejc,

Thanks for the tip, the Filter shader is the real star here. What is it doing here to get the bump effect ?

Because it is doing the inverse in other situations ( fresh example here ).

BTW it would be nice to have more control over the gaps in the future ( gap curvature, cracks, dents for example)
