Corona 10/11 - Corona Render Assets loading very slow
Alex Abarca:
Hi Corona Team,
Has there been any progress on this? Has Autodesk been able to help the Corona team resolve the issue? It seems like a significant problem.

Hi Alex, in the previous case we were able to narrow the issue down to a specific object in the scene. It seems that for some reason objects can affect loading times like this, even if it's just a simple spline. Unfortunately, I am not aware of any replies from Autodesk.
If you have a scene where this is happening, please share it with us at https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Thank you in advance.

If possible, please send us any problematic scenes over at https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
It would be great if you could attach a scene saved with Corona 9 so that we could compare the V9 and V10 times.
I have some additional questions/considerations:
- Are you using iToo plugins in your scenes? (we had some similar reports in the past which were related to iToo)
- Are you loading your scenes and all assets from local drivers or from network drives/gdrive/dropbox? <<< I HAVE THIS PROBLEM TO ACCESS GDRIVE. IT´S VERY, VERY, VERY SLOW TO LOAD CORONA ASSETS
- Are there many hi-res textures in your scenes? (for example 100 x 8k textures)
- Does lowering all textures resolutions under Viewports Configuration to a super low value like 128px make any difference?

Simple scene Loading Corona Assets stuck on 4% - CPU is used, RAM is not used, Error Message is not loading

Hi, the issue here is that "loading Corona assets" doesn't always mean they are Corona assets. Are you able to share the scene with us here? https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
