Hi guys!

We came across the same issue a few times while converting the whole scene with a new Corona 7 converter.
After the conversion, the scene is rendering normally in clay ( override MTL ) but crashes while rendering or IR. The whole max crashes to be specific.

Do you have any suggestions on how to help it?

Any help is very much appreciated.

Hello,
I have a similar Problem. Converted an evermotion scene from vray to corona, animated the lights, and tried to render the animation. I converted everything, lights, maps, etc. Unfortunately, max crases during the rendering. I can't find a solution, becouse there is no error message, just the crash during rendering. Depending which frame I try to render, the crash occurs also at different times - sometimes at pass 7-8, but sometimes at almost at the end, so pass 40-50.
Do you have any suggestions?

Hi,

Could you try installing the latest daily build and seeing if the crash is already fixed there? You can find the latest builds: https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=33839.msg191656#msg191656

We had reports of some similar crashes with v7 which were already fixed in the v8 dailies.

I just tried the latest build, but my max was still crashing during rendering the scene....

Sometimes the resetting Corona (switching to Scanline render and back) helps

The original issue is pretty old and I am not sure if this is some kind of mistake or not, but the report mentioned here by George leads to some kind of iToo plugin issue. This could have been solved on our or iToo's side already.
