Gallery / Hyrule Lost Woods - Full 4k CGI Fan made
« on: 2023-10-25, 13:03:01 »
Hello everyone.

2 years ago, something like this, I posted on this forum a sort of teaser video on a project around the Zelda license.
Hyrule Lost Woods is a CGi Fan made I started to create 3 years ago.
At the beginning of the project I was only supposed to make one image, then several, and finally it turned into a 2 minute short film.
It took me a lot of time, probably way too much, but I can now show you the final result.

All the project is calculated with Corona renderer.
Most of the video shots are calculated in UHD, but some were calculated in 2k then upscaled on Topaz.
I really hope you enjoy watching.
If so, don't hesitate to follow this project on my Behance page, I would really appreciate it: https://www.behance.net/gallery/181968841/Hyrule-Lost-Woods-CGi-Sort-film

Thank you!
Cheers.

Hey Corona members.
it's been a while since I put in a new project.
You may have seen my old one in the corona showreel? Today, I post a big update about this.
The project is not finished yet, but there is a second video teaser or something like that. Call it whatever you want.
All is calculate in 4k resolution (ultraHD is more appropriate), so activate the 4k option to watch it :)

To anticipate some questions.
Depth blur is it in 3d? No. Depth blur is in compositiong, with frishluft.
how long did the render time take? Between 45min and 1h15min per frame for a resolution of 3840x2160 native. Depending of the complexity of the scene.
What is your spec computer? You will laught... i7 5800k, 32go, 1070gtx
Do you use denoiser? Yes.
Do you separate plans? Mostly not. But in some case, I do.
Do you render on a renderfarm? No. I asked for some partnership, but without success. So I calculate everything on my computer :D

Thanks. Stay safe.

Hi everyone,

Hi hope all of you are safe at home in this difficult period.
Forced containment, it was the good time for me to create a showreel. I've wanted one for a long time.
These are personal projects carried out over the past 2 years. So nothing really new.

All this stuff was rendered on my pc (i7 6800k, 32go), with Corona Renderer obviously.

I wish you the best for all the community during this weird time.

Gallery / Hyrule lost woods - CGI fan film (Teaser)
« on: 2020-02-06, 01:05:54 »
Hi everyone,

I share with you today, a short teaser of a fan project that I'm working on it since several months.
The final project will be a CGI short fan movie (around 3 minutes) on the theme of Lost woods of Hyrule.
The entire project is calculated in 3840x1634 pixels natively on Corona Renderer on a single computer (mine).
The configuration is: intel i7 6800k, 32go, gtx 1070
Of course the main difficulty is the rendering times in 4k. But I'm really pleasantly surprised, I'm between 30 and 50 minutes per frame.
Of course this is  project i do for fun, and there are a lot of things to fix. I plan to complete the project during the 2020 year.
I hope you will enjoy this first preview, in 4k.
I regularly post my project progress on the networks, don't hesitate to take a look.

Gallery / White Haussmann - Short CGI film
« on: 2018-06-25, 13:29:40 »
Hi everyone.
After my last personnal project, I wanted to make a short film of this. Of course I used Corona.
The biggest problem was render time. I watched around Renderfarm but it was too expensive for a personal project. So I decided to render on my own computer.
I only have one computer with an i7 6800k. I set the rule not to exceed 20 minutes of rendering per frame, and I used the corona Denoiser to delete the noise.
((70s of film x 25 frames)x20min)/60 -> around 580 hours of rendering for my poor computer :D  Now I'm waiting my electricity bill :D
So this is the result.

ps: I don't know how to make a thumbnail image

Gallery / White Haussmann - CGI
« on: 2018-04-16, 09:34:41 »
Hi everyone,
A year ago, during my free time, I challenged myself by realizing a cgi interior project with a black, vintage, and haussmannian style.
This year, I wanted to remake that.
Realize another cgi interior scene, but this time with a white atmosphere and a mix of hausmannian and modern style.
Of course, I used Corona to render all of images.
There are so many images (27 renders I think), so you can find all the project in high definition on this behance page : https://www.behance.net/gallery/64049547/White-Haussmann-CGI
Have a nice day! :)

Gallery / Black Haussmann Interior
« on: 2017-07-10, 20:24:15 »
Hi everyone.

I think this is my first post on the forum. And today, I want to share with you my last CGI work done with Corona.
This about a black interior haussmann style. I used 3ds, Corona as I just said, and Photoshop.
It was a first for me to try to render a black interior.

You can find a lot of more images and details view about this project on this behance page too:

I hope you appreciate, and don't hesitate to tell me your opinion.
Thanks.
