Title: Optical abberations for fisheye camera
Post by: romullus on 2020-02-14, 21:02:17
Like all other lenses, fisheye also has depth of field and vignetting. There's no reason to not have them in Corona. Pretty please.

From early tests, I remember that chromatic aberration increased the render time extremely.... ?
I always do them in post.

To be clear, i'm not talkinga about chromatic abberations (although i'd really love to see them in Corona), i'm talking about already implemented abberations, which sadly are ignored by fisheye camera. Well, technically DOF probably isn't an abberation, but that's irrelevant for this topic :]

Not up to me but sounds reasonable, reporting.

Yes, all in for the idea of having Fisheye DOF - I happen to use the lens pretty often and really miss having some Depth of Field!

Chiming-in to add my support to this feature request; having depth of field for fisheye lens would be very compelling, albeit niche.
