Have a seat, eat all you can..
Done with Max & Corona 6.

There might be some noise in the images - Rendering was going on forever and never clearing up.

Very cool image. Looks like a lot of work.
Noise not really cleaning up ( especially in darker areas ) is also what I experience and already asked the devs about that.
At low nose levels like 3% I would expect less noise in corners of rooms, etc.

Have you seen "The Platform" movie? It's on Netflix. ;)

Thanks. I never had noise problem. with HDRI I get no noise at all. I think it is because this scene have a lot of reflection/refraction/SSS going on. (see attached)
Another thing is caustics. It breathes a whole new life into the scene. Unfortunately, it was messing with juice objects. I had to rerender each one 2 times, one regular and one for just caustics render element.

That looks like dark version of the feast. :D

^ That issue is because the new caustics solver is not used in volumetric media. They use regular path tracing for caustics, so it will be either dark, or will take ages (literally) to resolve to a similar result.

Any plans to fix this, by the way? how much is this time-consuming and can we expect this in the form of hot fix to v6 or should we be patient before v7?)

No idea, honestly. As far as I understand, the issue here is that caustics are not 3D. They cannot be volumetric. Than can only be cast onto a surface.
