[Max] Bug Reporting / Crash when using interactive rendering
« on: 2019-04-11, 11:23:30 »
Hi,

Having a crash every time I use interactive rendering after switching a scene from Vray to Corona.

I'm getting the same error as pointed out in this thread here:

https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=21716.0

Latest Corona version, 3DSMax 2019 SP3. Works fine if I set the renderer as Corona in a blank scene and import everything in. Anyone have any ideas? I can provide the scene if necessary.

Thanks,

Hi,

Starting yesterday I got this bug out of the blue. When adding a light select element and clicking on it, the "Light Select Render Element" tab immediately jumps to the top of the stack. Clicking on another element, this behaviour goes away.

Screenshots attached. This is driving me absolutely insane, any tips would be amazing.

Screenshot 1 is before clicking on the "CShading_LightMix", screenshot 2 is immediately after clicking it. If I click on the "CESSENTIAL_Direct" element, the "Render Elements" box jumps back to the top.

Thanks,

[Max] General Discussion / Corona Image Editor CPU Usage
« on: 2017-12-08, 17:15:56 »
Hi,

Using the Corona Image Editor on 1.7 seems significantly slower than previous builds. When altering Lightmix intensity, exposure, light colour, anything really, the CPU usage spikes to 100% and it takes around 1 second per change to process.

Has anyone else noticed a slowdown on the latest version, and more importantly, found a workaround?

Thanks

Hi,

A previous company I worked at had a custom script for removing the Output path of ALL render elements at once, does anyone familiar with MaxScript know how I might go about making this? I'm being driven crazy by "Error Creating File Output" and finding Max has suddenly decided to try save all my elements to a random, non-existent network location.
