Yeah, not bad, and definitely does not look like scanline...  Also, 15 minutes on AMD CPU at such res is almost a miracle :D

You should really elaborate on the critisism. This recommendation: http://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,1158.0.html does not apply only to positive feedback, but also to negative. Even more so, because of the emotions it usually causes. You should really not go around a forum you are new to, pointing out things you don't like with copy&paste comment. At least have the common courtesy to point out the particular weak points of the image you see so the author can improve it.

Must do something with the texture of the carpet. Looks like wrong UVW. But in all not bad.

I would like to see the shot showing more of the light source from the left, as the strong triangular shadows are enticing me to this.
Also skirting board to the walls? Joints in the floor?
