Ok I think I found a solution for it. So for people also having the same problem:

First select the material and go to "diffuse"
Then search in the options for the texture after "plugins"
from there: >"corona">"UVW Randomiser"
When chosen, (still in diffuse) you can click the little texture Icon and change the offset, scale rotation, etc...

For me this worked fine, but if there is a better solution, feel free to comment;)

Hello!

As one can see in the picture, the floor in my scene is quite repetitive.
I heard that you can solve this by using the UVW Randomiser. Unfortunately I'm unable to find a good tutorial online, so I wanted to ask in the forum.
I don't want to vary the stone texture, just the offset and rotation, so the floor looks more realistic.

Is there an easy way to do this? I'm new to cinema/corona and also don't know how to use the node material editor...

Thank your all answers:)

[C4D] I need help! / How to make Spotlights with Corona

Hello:)

I was wondering if there is an easy way to have the effect of spotlight with Corona. There is also a reference and a sketch of the scene, that show what I am trying to do.
Please note that i'm new to Cinema/Corona so im not working with the Node Material Editor yet.

Thank you very much for all answers:)

Version: Corona 9

could the problem have something to do with the many metal textures (for door handles, mirrors, etc...) in the scene? They are all physical materials and have a high reflection obviously.

Also there is no natural light, just the light points with a light material (10 intensity). When I remove the ceiling and the lights, the noise goes away.

otherwise I have all the standard settings regarding the render settings but a simple exposure of 10

Hello dear community,

some wired white points and gray areas appear on the ceiling in my scene. I can't explain why they occure...

Here some information:
- The rastered ceiling has not reflectance and the floor just a bit (nothing changes with a floor w/ no reflection)
- If I increase Bloom and Glare, the dots increase a bit in intensity
- The ceiling has no Tag
- When I copy all objects into a new scene, the problem still occurs.
- Corona Version 9
- cinema 2023.0.0

does somebody know the answer or has the same problem?

I provided the picture and all my render settings. I can upload more if somebody asks;)

Thank you so much for all answers

That was actually not set, thank you very much! But even if I activate corona in the settings, only white appears instead. If I disable Corona Sun, the poorly rendered cube appears again. Is there another reason

Hi:)

I have a problem using Corona for Cinema4D.
When I add Corona Sun and/or Corona Sky they don't seem to work (See images). Even if I increase the intensity or scale the sun up, nothing changes. Even if I only activate Corona Sky, for example, I get a similar result.
(I created the file and didn't touch any other settings)

What do I have to set to make it work? Thank you for all replies :)

[C4D] I need help! / Corona Renderer for C4D not working
« on: 2022-04-19, 09:44:57 »

Good Morning! I wanted to download Corona renderer for C4D. However, Corona does not appear in C4D. I can't select it in the render settings either. However, when I look in the C4D folder in the plug-ins, Corona is there.

First I installed the latest versions of both - C4D25 and Corona7. When it didn't work, I deleted both programs and installed Corona 6 for 25. Then 6 for 24. But nothing worked again. When downloading Corona, I also selected all C4D folders as the source (this is a common source of error)

Does anyone know the problem and knows a solution. For further information I have the Macbook Pro M1 from 2021 from IOS Monterey
