Hi there.
Regarding the use of Team Render for distributed rendering, you can do the following:
Note: Please consider that Team Render is provided and developed by Maxon (creators of Cinema4D)
I'll suggest using the Team Render Server (web or browser interface)
The workflow will be:
1. On your PC 1, save your scene as usual. (Note: make sure all of your assets are in the "tex" folder)
2. On your PC 1, open the Team Render Server, and once there, open the web/browser interface
3. On your PC 2, open the Team Render Client
4. On the Team Render Server (on PC 1), define the repository folder (where Team Render will look for scene files)
5. Now, copy/move your scene project to the repository folder (you can even use the "Save project with assets" option, but always make sure the copy of your project works ok and all assets are loaded correctly)
6. From the Team Render Server you'll be able to start/stop, and manage the distributed render jobs and monitor the nodes in charge of the rendering process.
This way your PC 2 will use a Corona Render Node, allowing you to continue working on a separate/different project on your PC 1.
Note: This workflow is useful if you have additional Render Node licenses.

Hi there,


If you want to use the "Viewport selection" rendering mode as you saw it on the video, you should disable the "Clear VFB inbetween renders" option in the Frame Buffer tab. (see attached image)

Hi everyone,

Is it possible, using chaos scatter, to get a cleaner result near the pool border, just by using the scatter?

I added the pool border as a apline in the spline exclude field with 12-14cm  and scale and density at 100%. The scale doenst seem to have much effect with this thin border?
When I change the seed, it can get a bit better but never clean enough.

I can only make it better by using a linear cloner to make a straight finish.

I'm attaching images with and without the linear cloner to illustrate

PS: as a side question, is it possible to change the size for an individual scattered object when they are proxies from the cosmos browser?

Did you manage to solve the issue?
As mentioned before, you can use a map to control the scale towards the pool edge. I'll suggest using the Corona Distance map to affect the scale of scattered objects near the pool edge.

Do you have any firewall or ad-blocker app installed on your mac?
Even consider those apps to "optimize" the computer's performance, because, in most cases, they come with a built-in firewall/ad-blocker that causes some issues.

Thank you for your replies.
Please consider that Macbook's cooling system could not be enough to keep the CPU working at its full all the time.
Someone already mentioned something about expected performance using a Mac Studio, which has a better cooling system compared to a MacBook.
Are you using a specific monitoring tool that shows the 70% CPU capping issue?
If so, could you please let us know the tool and the steps you followed to find out the issue?
Please be as descriptive as possible so we can try to reproduce the issue.

It can be used on your own computer (no need of using additional computers)

This occurs because of randomization; perhaps you can try reducing the X and Y position randomization (in transformations rollout) or even using a texture map to control it.
