Can you still not see the preview of a hdri sky in the viewport with corona? This seems to have been a problem for a while now and just checking I haven't missed a fix for it?

Many thanks,

Phil

That's correct, unfortunately, this fix did not fit into the v7 release. We plan to do improvements to this (and how some materials are displayed in IR) for v8 - These are very preliminary plans and should not be taken for granted.

Thanks,
Jan

Is this issue still unfixed? I just downloaded the newest build (v8 Release Candidate 2) and my HDRI still does not show up in viewport when I put an HDRI in the shader-slot of the sky object. The problem occurs in S24 and R25.
According to this tutorial (https://support.corona-renderer.com/hc/en-us/articles/4402358546065-How-to-set-up-an-HDRI-environment-in-Corona-for-C4D-) the viewport should show the HDRI. Is this link outdated or is there a problem with my v8 installation? Do I have to change any settings to get a preview of the HDRI? Thank you!

For me it worked in Corona 7 but no longer works in Corona 8.
