  • Added interactive rendering
  • Added Shadow catcher material
  • Partially fixed bump mapping (flipped one of axis when Corona bitmap was used)

Notes:
Interactive rendering is currently fully supported only in VFB. In Picture Viewer, the changes are detected only when the mouse button is released after the mouse move. Implementation of IR touched nearly every part of the plugin so there can be bugs in things which worked well before but non-interactive rendering works the same as before.

  • Fixed crash in IR when Boole object was used (the Boole objects still must be fixed but they don't crash anymore)
  • Fixed crash when 3rd party shaders were used in the scene (reported for Kendo shaders)
  • Fixed light material not obeying opacity map correctly
  • Fixed unnecessary re-parsing of objects in IR during update

  • Fixed crash when Shadow Catcher material was switched into Environment mode and the noise shader was used in Reflection channel
  • Fixed crash when Refraction and Bump channels were enabled for the same material
  • Fixed crash when VertexMap shader was used in IR
  • Fixed freeze when LUT selector control was updated (reported as focus picking bug)
  • Added "Legacy behaviour" checkbox into Round edges shader (for old scenes this checkbox is enabled and they will look the same as in Alpha 6; for new scenes, round edges are also rendered for "inner" edges when two hidden faces are opposing each other)

  • Fixed IR looping problems when MoGraph effectors are used in the scene (this fix causes some of the effectors to not update in IR when changed but they will update in IR after movement)
  • Fixed crashes when changing Cinema 4D light types in IR
