There is a feature request on 3dsmax but lets be realistic, that could happen on 2025, It would be awesome if corona could support it!

OCIO would be really great ! Mainly because of possibility to have ACES workflow.
Actually, i don't think it's too much work to implement that. However, important feature beside OCIO would be 2d map node to convert textures between srgb/linear to ACES.
Frankly, i need only two color functions in Frame buffer: Exposure and OCIO, everything else is unnecessary.

Vray is supporting ACES / OCIO at some capacity in Max, I presume then that technology could be ported to Corona(?)

Even 3DS Max new update telling us about ACES support in native 3DS Max buffer window, so don't tell us again please, that it is impossible in this program.

I think Corona Renderer has said in the past that they would open to implementing ACES / OCIO once it became possible in 3ds Max; it's certainly been on the roadmap(?)

Vray has had full ACES support for a few versions now. Would be good if Corona supported it.

I think there are some notes about this in the last two updates on the alpha build thread

On what is coming in Corona 8, it is not the ability to save to OCIO/ACES format, but how to get the "ACES look" that most people like. However, don't look to the currently released RCs to try that out, there is an updated approach coming in a future RC.
