Corona VFB already has a /SAVE/ button to saving Dump exr file/
Why not make a /OPEN/ button for opening Corona Dump exr file directly in VFB, without the need to use /resume from file/ option and waiting loading whole scene,
for fast tweaking of Post and Light mix directly in VFB///

I think it takes more than a button to do this :) And I also think the Corona team is working on a standalone program/extension that does exactly what you ask for.

It´s not intended for that but you can do this by misusing "resume from file": Take any scene of a size where parsing lasts a while, use "resume from file", cancel immediately and there you are. Everything works except denoising. I would also appreciate a load option combined with any way to restart denoising.

Good Luck

excellent advice for hard complex scenes and resolution 8K, where each operation takes a long time/
"cancel immediately" ---- very funny:)))))

Is problem NOT using /resume from file/ option, as I wrote above///

denisgo22, it was in no regard some "advice" but a hint that you don´t need to load the original scene. It works most of the time even with an empty scene if you manage to cancel quick enough. And I had/have to problems loading 12 or 16k pano images like this.

Good Luck

I'm sorry, but can't the devs make an "open" in the VFB?
When I use resume from file, first the button to cancel doesn't react immediately, and secondly it spends some time parsing the scene.

Well those would have to happen if you want to resume rendering. If you just want to post process the image rather than pick up where you left off rendering-wise... well that's what the CIE is for. Then you don't need to even open Max / C4D ;)

What I want to do is, after the vfb was cleared for whatever reason, I want to be able to use the region tool knowing what I'm regionining, and on an already rendered image and not on a black or extremely noisy background.
It's not fun to wait for parsing, or a frozen UI.

TY for the extra info! I suggest opening a new Feature Request with that description (this info in an old and closed Feature Request is likely to be overlooked).
