Hi, I had run some tests on my pc's and even convinced one of my friends to run it on his i7-4770k and got some pretty strange results ...
1 - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3930K CPU @ 4.50GHz (OC) HT ON : Time: 0:03:15, Rays/s: 6,508,898
2 - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3930K CPU @ 4.50GHz (OC) HT OFF : Time: 0:04:51, Rays/s: 4,355,515 - NEVER will I disable it again :)
3 - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-920 CPU @ 4.00GHz (OC) HT ON : Time: 0:05:31, Rays/s: 3,836,109
4 - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770K CPU @ 4.20GHz (OC) HT ON Time: 0:4:23, Rays/s: 4,824,555
while the performance difference of i7-3930K with hyperthreading enabled and without it is understandable yet quite larger than I expected (from my experience) , other two left me wondering - in other render engines ( vray, cinebench, maxwell ) OCed i7-3930K is in most cases twice as fast as OCed i7-920 and here we see similar result , but the OCed i7-4770K should be very close to OCed i7-3930K not to i7-920 - its a pretty fast cpu and such bad results with it are quite unexpected , maybe that's some bug or something ...
