After rendering in progressive mode for over 2 mins, upon closing Corona Standalone the image is not auto-saved to the output directory.  The Blender exporter also seems to hang, thinking Corona is still running; it doesn't seem to be getting a return code from the terminated process.  I imagine these are probably related?

The global render settings reset when I open the render settings window.  This means having to redo the resolution / aspect ratio if they've been tweaked previously.

[Max] Resolved Bugs / Corona Standalone normal map error
« on: 2014-03-21, 19:24:51 »
I'm seeing this normal map error in Corona Standalone, but not in other renderers.  I can't venture a guess as to what the issue is, but I'm almost positive it's not the map itself.  I've used this very map in another renderer, and a version of this map with the green channel inverted in yet a few others.

Chaos Corona for Blender / Blender To Corona bugs

Please post bugs you encounter to the issue tracker on bitbucket:  https://bitbucket.org/ohsnapitsjoel/render_corona/issues

It'll be hard to keep up with them here.

[Max] Resolved Bugs / Corona Standalone x y dimensions issue
« on: 2014-02-13, 18:09:37 »
I don't know if this is technically a bug or something I just don't understand.  In Corona Standalone, if the X dimension of the image is greater than Y, it renders correctly.  If the Y is greater than X, it renders with what seems to be an incorrect FOV.  I can attach more detailed files if needed.

But I'm including an image of the render, and a screenshot of how it looks in Blender prior to export.

Corona Standalone gives and 'invalid face declaration' error when trying to render a scene with quads.

Preview scene in Corona Standalone has sphere halfway through the floor

When trying to save a rendered image to disk as a .jpg file or .bmp, the Standalone framebuffer crashes.  Saving as .png or .exr works just fine.

I'm using the latest build of Standalone, the one from late November.

I'm getting an invalid sun declaration error using the following in an export.scn file:

For the newest version of Corona Standalone, is there a different way to declare a portal triangle?

I'm currently doing this, and it's giving me an invalid portal declaration error:

Code: [Select]
portal -2.182 -1.454 2.933 -1.995 0.521 3.174 -1.099 0.221 4.936

Corona Standalone / Is DoF implemented in Standalone?
« on: 2013-06-01, 22:19:48 »
Hi again, I have another question. I was reading over the standalone file syntax .pdf but I didn't find anything regarding depth of field specifically. Is it implemented yet in Corona Standalone?

Also, an unrelated question so that I don't clutter up this forum with one-question threads :) -- is there somewhere a list of what the primary and secondary GI solver indices refer to?

I read the thread about naming new posts with informative titles, so I hope I've named this thread clearly enough :)

I've exported a slapped-together .obj scene and tried to start rendering from the command line; the application freezes before it starts to render, and the 'has stopped working' dialog box gives me this:

I'm attaching the files as well.

Hi all, I'm curious whether there's a setting that I've missed in the docs about rendering smoothed meshes.  I was hoping to find something I could work backward from, but since the objects in the /example/export.scn are all faceted, I didn't find the answer I was looking for.

Is there a bool setting somewhere in the .scn or .conf files to enable per-.obj smoothing or something?
