Hi all,
Is it possible to have certain object to be unaffected by corona camera clipping plane?
I want to make a view but want to keep some objects visible (see attachment), is that possible?
Thank you very much,
Cheers!

Hi,
no, this is not possible. Rather than complicating clip planes, we are planning to create a much more powerful clipper/slicer material

Hi there Ondra,
Thank you for your reply.
That sounds great! Do you have any idea when such tool would be available? Just want to know if it's something for the future or we can expect it sooner, no pressure lol

Information is on the roadmap :) https://trello.com/c/gm6WlX9y/121-slicer-clipper-material (https://trello.com/c/gm6WlX9y/121-slicer-clipper-material)

Hi Tom,
Thanks for the info.

You may need to detach some of your objects (the ones you want to see through).
Select all those objects > Right Click > Object Properties > Untick Visible to Camera.

Example, if i wanted the camera to see through everything on the Green side (It will still cast shadows and reflections), You would select everything in green and untick the "Visible to Camera".

I'm looking forward to the slicer/clipper material, but in the meantime this is a great tip. Thanks Joe!
