You'll find it in the Corona camera settings. DOF/Aperture shape. Load you're custom image there.

It's not possible to simulate cat's eye bokeh with custom aperture shape, you better should wait till this feature will be ported to C4D.

It will probably depending on a few settings. Your focal length, aperture size, camera angle/position. In this example I lowered the camera angle, set the focal length to 85mm and moved the camera back till i was happy with the frame. Then opened up the aperture (f-stop) to .05. You'll just have to play around until you get the desired effect you are after.
