Win 10, C4D Studio R19, Corona Beta 1 Release.

- Load the scene. "Ringe außen", point mode and loop selection should be active.
- Start IPR.
- Try to "loop select" any point loop of "Ringe außen".
- Restart C4D (or go have a cuppa, or a beer).

CU
Michael

PS
It does not seem to be the loop selection alone, this scene really loves to crash!

PPS
Still getting there slowly, but since it is an object from "native" C4D, it contains the C4D AO shader. I've seen crashes with the IPR (not when "only" rendering to VFB) that went away when I got rid of C4D's AO. Any hint of that in the bug report?

Hi Michael!

I cannot reproduce this with the newest Corona version on R19. Are you sure with the repro steps?

Cannot reproduce here either, can select and adjust loops and IR remains responsive.

I just followed my own steps. Result attached. So - yes, it does crash.

Does the bug report say something useful?

Guys, one remark - the _BugReport.txt is usually way off in Windows for some reason, so it rarely helps us on Windows. If anyone of you tries this and C4D crashes on you, could I ask you to send us a zip file with the contents of the whole _bugreports folder? The most important file there is the minidump, which contains a reliable call stack...

So it turns out that it is the Ambient Occlusion shader that smells. Might be us not giving it some data it needs, but it also might be a bug in C4D. I am wondering if those people who didn't have a crash have a different C4D version? I tried it on R19.053
