Thank you!

I made a bag directly in Cinema. I made bag model ( quite dense mesh ) add soft body material with right values and set wind simulation. I added wind, some turbulences, gravity and started the simulation. It was quite difficult to hit the shopping trolley :)
Hi resolution image ( 6000 pix width ) took about 4-8 hours with detailed displacements and environment fog on dual xeon 2.3 GHz and a dozen or so minutes for full hd frame. On my new Ryzen 3970 workstation it's usually 2,5 time faster at least.

Thanks! All volumetrics were achieved directly with Corona environment volume fog material. Almost all with single bounce tick on. It was enough for dense mist. Just right setup - start render - two or three X Files series episodes on tv for hi res stills - and exr 32 bit images for edit done :) In postproduction it's good to generate volumetrics pass to controll them.

Regards
Marcin

Thank you for all comments!

d.sign - thanks - I always like to play with format of cg piece. For stills and animations either. That's great way to emphasize some important issues.

Designerman77 - thx! It was little experimental feature :)

Hello there!

I would like to the fourth chapter of my personal project called "Pictures from Corona Land - tiny motions". Everything made just for practise, fun and to play with desaturated and also vivid images and simple animations. Just to play with details achieved in CG scenes and minimal composed views. Made with Cinema Studio R18 and Corona.

Gallery / Pictures from Corona Land #3 - All shades of water
« on: 2019-10-29, 11:26:13 »
Hello there

I would like to introduce third chapter chapter of my personal project called "Pictures from Corona Land - all shades of water". This time I was focused to recreate black and white photography mood. I created again full 3d CGI detailed renders and tried to obtain not only realistic details but also more real abstract optic and atmospheric effects like fog, caustics etc. achieved directly from render engine. Referring to subtitle, water was great and demanding medium for testing complex shaders, uncommon 3d objects solutions and configurations and finally generate complex realistic effects. For me "All shades of water" is next step forward with 3d freedom of creation. As a analogue photographer I'm satisfied to play with black and white tones in 3d medium where I used my different creation experience from photography. Only one thing was missing - real darkroom chemistry smell...

Thanks! I started with displacement map for ripples but it's very slight effect so I used just bump map finally. Here is preview of this texture.

Thank you yagi! THese models were taken directly from 3dsky. I just search for good plants and gather good sets from separate models but the same species. I gathered a few Ivy models and formed ( or not ) bushes.

Thanks! I don't know how long I worked on this image. It was very comfortable task. I think it was 4-5 days from idea to final image.
