Gallery / Pictures from Corona Land #1 - Winter scene
« on: 2019-01-30, 10:43:36 »
Hi there!

I would like to introduce first chapter of my new personal project. I created full CG generated images focused on strict photography approach. I used Corona for Cinema 4D render engine which produce outstanding quality and offer very handy and flexible workflow. First time during CG project I was feel free as a photographer. Apart of the photography attitude, cold winter, falling snow effect simulation was also important and quite easy to achieve in full 3d scene with motion blur, volumetric fog and a lot of detailed displacements. We can show much more than only to present real things. We can introduce sense feelings too. Nowadays the realism factor comes smooth and I believe that I will stop being divided soon. Divided to a CG and photography artist. Chapter #2 is coming…

[C4D] Bug Reporting / Volumetric environment bug (?) issue
« on: 2019-01-02, 16:56:58 »
Hello

I discovered weird difference between corona environment volume fog material scene render compared to volume fog material added to cube object. It's noticeable for large fog scenes for distance above less more 100 meters.

I uploaded test scene. Short description below:

I made scene with ten area lights cloned linear on 200 m distance ( 20 meters gaps between the lights ). I added volume fog material to environment tab. The outcome render shows that not all lights have fog volumetric cones shapes - render below:

I turned off environment fog and added huge cube object to the scene ( 250mx250mx20m height dimensions ) and added the same volumetric materia to it. Render looks fine, please see image below:

[C4D] Resolved Bugs / Small bug - Camera Tag copy
« on: 2016-11-25, 14:14:08 »
Hi

Just small bad behavior. If I copy Corona camera tag from one scene camera to another ( without tag of course ) the camera tag settings are reset to defaults. For example I set camera setting to ISO 400 ( from default 200 ), shutter to 500 ( from default 30 ) and aperture to 11 ( from 16 default ) and copy this modified tag with ctrl key to another camera in the scene the shutter speed settings are reset to default 1/30. Iso and aperture works fine and during the copy operation keep on as the modified value.

Quite sunny weather outside and good music in my CD player :)

Hi there!

I would like to introduce my latest work. This is the second project made in Corona and this time after a first test https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,11355.0.html I made something bigger and I focused on strong postproduction workflow. Corona multi-pass channels give very efficient way to make a lot of work in postproduction. I mean that range of passes make possible to create flexible way to adapt further 2d operations after a render stage. I made this scene with Cinema R15 Prime and Corona A5. Project: Queen Alia Airport - Foster + Partners, Amman, Jordan ( if there ever rains... ? :) ), postpro Photoshop.

Thank you for watching!

Gallery / First Corona test
« on: 2016-03-21, 16:11:44 »
Hi there!

This is my firs post here. I decided to test Corona render.  I made simple interior scene and four renders with different type of lights and other features and of course to learn. I'm really impressed how this software is easy to learn at basics and from the first render test shoots the overal quality is excellent. The entire philosophy of work is very intuitive. Congratulations for Corona Team! I think that I should change my demo version to commercial regular license :)
