Would it be possible to have an option to ignore xref scenes? For example, cut the walls of an appartment but not the furniture of the xref...

Hi, in the latest daily, 3dsmax freeze when I try to remove deleted elements from distance map or lightselect render element.
max 2021.3, win10, corona latest daily.

edit: sorry, the problem was on my side, my batch file was pointing the wrong path.
Problem solved

I've developped it.
It can save presets and load them. It can create mask for camera clipping and objects clipping.
I'm not a very good coder so it's a bit buggy but was working nice with corona 2.0 and still is working quite well but I have to manually select the repartition object with corona 3.0.

Sorry for double posting.
I think the problem comes from the loading of the instanced objects and distribute-on objects because if I load them manually it's working but I have to empty the list then reload them manually.

I have a problem with corona 3
Cscatters created by maxscript don't work or maybe there's a difference with corona 2.
Anyone noticed that?
Apart from that Corona 3 is working great, good job devs

I've noticed that 3dsmax photometric lights intensity doesn't change when size changes.
Corona lights do which I guess is correct behavior.
I've managed to get similar results if the size of corona lights is the same as 3dsmax light and I put the 3dsmax lumen value in the corona intensity in lux, not lumen or candela.
Not sure it works in all cases but for iGuzzini IES files, it's really close.

I have the same problem here but not only with IR, the whole 3dsmax becomes slow when using Cscatter.
If I don't use distribution map it's still usable but the more complex the map gets, the slower max works to the point of not being usable.
I've submitted a bug report on Mantis, ticket 0002151.

ok I was trying to replicate how multiscatter  or forest works, so instancing IS important ;-)
I think it would be a good feature to add to corona scatter (get color from distribution surface).
We can add variation with multimap but it's too random, using a map produces more realistic results.

Hello corona addicts :)

I'm trying to get color from a texture to change the vertex color of the particles.
As you can see it's working in scanline render but renders black particles in corona.
As vertex color is supposed to work in corona, I'm wondering if it's a bug or if the particle flow support in Corona is not complete for the moment.
