[Max] Resolved Bugs / Tone mapping curves are SLOW

I'm having a difficult time adjusting the Curves in the tone mapping Curve Control in v9. It's difficult to make adjustments since it takes a few seconds per adjustment and seems very sticky. Any ideas?

This was a fun one! We were tasked with recreating the NYC Central Park John Lennon Strawberry Fields memorial for this 1960s inspired line of textiles.

3DS Max, TyFlow, Corona, and Nuke were used. Hoping to get TyFlow motion blur for particles in a future release. 🤞

[Max] Resolved Bugs / UVW randomizer and proxies

I can't seem to get the randomizer to work with Corona proxies. Is there a trick to this or is it a known bug?

It seems that only W rotation will work. U and V have no effect.

I'm using Max 2021 and Corona 6 hotfix 1.

[Max] Bug Reporting / Corona 6 UVW randomizer changes v5 uvw randomizer

I was just rendering an animation scene that was originally created with version 5 and now version 6 has changed the uvw randomizer map so that my floor concrete texture doesn't match the v5 version anymore. Is this a known bug?

3ds Max 2021, Corona 6.

[Max] Resolved Bugs / Corona mask element reset issue

Hello,

I've noticed this bug over the last several updates. After working in a 3ds Max animation file over and over, I notice that the Corona Mask Element completely resets itself. I usually turn on the RGB mode and use material gbuffer numbers. I noticed after I render some sequences I'll check on them in Nuke and the masks are gone, so maybe it happens after the jobs are submitted via Deadline?

Here's a recent animation I worked on with a few other horror lovers. I usually render animations in Vray but have recently started using Corona.

I did notice that the multilayered EXR would not save out the material id masks and when I went to check on that in the render elements, they were completely broken, as in I couldn't modify the IDs anymore. I had to delete the mask elements and restart the process. This happened a few times.

I've noticed in 3ds max v3 that the denoise is always on in the interactive renderer. Is there a way to turn it off?

[Max] Bug Reporting / Deadline missing dll with version 2

Is anyone having issues submitting deadline jobs for 3dsMax 2019 and Corona 2? The log says it's missing corona dll's, but I've uninstalled corona and reinstalled and nothing fixes it. I'm assuming deadline might not support version 2?

[Max] Bug Reporting / Dragging bitmaps from Windows file explorer very slow

I've noticed when I drag bitmaps from Windows file explorer window into the Corona bitmap bitmap slot it takes a long time to load in. Any way to speed this up?
