Gallery / Basketball Gymnasium
« on: 2019-05-05, 16:45:56 »
Hey Coronauts!
I just wanted to share this project I've been working on. It's based on an old commercial project of a school I did for an architectural firm, and now I'm getting back to it and polishing it more, with new exterior views.
The gymnasium interior design was loosely based on BCQ architect's sports hall in Olot, Spain, but on a much smaller scale.

The exterior part was my contribution to the design, and for visualization purposes only.
Any comments and critiques are certainly welcome, especially about the colors! I wanna know what you think.

Cheers!

Gallery / Blue Bedroom. CG Interior Images.
« on: 2019-03-05, 00:54:40 »
Hey guys, Just wanted to share this personal project I've been working on.
In this bedroom interior I'm practicing fabrics simulation, complementary colors/contrast and the use of lower budget materials as finishes, like this roofing.
Any feedback will be appreciated!

I used 3ds max, Corona, marvelous designer, photoshop and Lightroom.

[Max] Resolved Bugs / Alpha artifacts in PNG export
« on: 2018-05-10, 19:29:00 »
Hello everyone.
I've been having this problem for a while now and so far I have not found people talking about it.
After I export my renders from Corona Image Editor into PNG format, I load those into photoshop (beauty pass) to make a few adjustments and add backgrounds.
The png file already has alpha applied.
When I zoom in many times I've seen these artifact lines, or sometimes semi-transparent pixels when they should be completely opaque.
Am I doing something wrong?

Using 1.7.2 here. Rendering to 4% noise and adding 0.4 denoise pass. CXR -> corona image editor -> PNG workflow.
I'm attaching a few captures to show the problem, and my layers in photoshop. Full rez alpha channel image. When you zoom in you can see the pattern it's creating on the bottom right quarter of the image.

Any input will be appreciated!!!!

Hey everyone

I'd like to know your workflow to randomize light temperatures, and if there is none, add it to requests.
For example I have a building facade and want to have all my instanced lights randomize their intensity and temperature, given a certain range, like between 3800K and 6500K and intensity varying from 15 to 50. Maybe different apartments (a group of lights) could have the same color and intensity or turn them off all the way.
There used to be a script for vray that did this but has not worked for a while.

Thanks!!!

Hey guys, so I'm trying to render a zdepth pass in corona, I add the pass in Corona Multipass window, but it turns out white. Where do I have to type in the black and white distances so it'll render correctly ?   In max they say you have to add a "render element" or something like that... I don't use max at all

Hi guys, so I'm trying to do a few architectural renderings but I cannot get the same angle I had in my scene in vrayc4d. I use the "vertical shift" slider in the vray camera tag all the time.
Is there an equivalent for Corona?
Thanks!

[C4D] General Discussion / Sky+HDRI not working ?
« on: 2015-03-16, 17:37:32 »
Hey guys, I'm new to Corona. I've been trying to light my scene  with an HDRI but I haven't been succesful. I'll attach a simple scene.
I create a Corona sky, create corona material, I add hdr image to emission channel, I apply the material to the sky object. But it doesn't work.

What am I doing wrong ?

THanks !!!

Gallery / Interior in Corona C4D- And some questions.
« on: 2015-03-16, 16:33:50 »
Ok, so first time trying Corona for C4D, I come from VrayforC4D.  It's impressive the quality you can get straight out of the renderer, but I have one issue. There's this noise that I can't really clean up without losing a lot of texture, I applied a heavy noise reduction on these images otherwise they wouldn't work for me, I'll post them without any post production in the comments. I used a few Josef bsharah objects and evermotion textures.

In the third one you can clearly see some weird highlight artifact in the concrete wall in the back.

Any idea how to remove this inside the renderer ?
