I have a problem with the interactive render of Corona in Cinema 4D.
When I turn on the interactive render it takes 40~50 seconds before it starts the first render pass.

I recently switched from a Mac to a PC. On my old Mac (Apple M1 Max) the interactive render starts immediately with the 1st render pass. On my Mac I run C4D R25 with the latest version of Corona. The PC (AMD RYZEN 9) runs the latest versions of C4D and Corona.

I recently opened an old C4D project on the new PC that was created in R25 on the Mac. It started rendering immediately, but when the project was saved (to the latest version of C4D) it took a long time before the interactive render started with the first pass.

Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

The strange thing is when I place the object in a old c4d project the texture looks fine 🫤
I've recently upgraded to Corona 8 (and beta before) Could this be a setting that's changed from release 7 to 8? I can't remember I did some major settings changes.

(The project file i've used for this preview was original setup in Corona 7)

It is the final render, but also in the IR it's blurry.
I've set the preview size in the viewport to the max and even that looks more or less sharper 🙈

The size of the object is pretty big around 7000*6500 mm (it's life size) The texture is set to Cubic.

Hi all,

I get these blurry textures when zooming out of my object.
When I get closer to the object the textures look fine. But when I zoom out they become blurry.

It feels like to me it’s a kind of ‘MIP’ setting inside corona.
Does anyone know how to solve this?

Thanks ✌🏻

note: wooden texture is from the corona texture library. Image render is a still image.

Hi everyone,

I’d like to share my latest project.
It’s a personal studie and fun project. Slightly inspired by the (neon)lights from the movie ‘Kate’.
This resulted in this trashy bus stop with empty illuminated abri.

Been working with Corona Renderer since last summer and i really love the results i’m getting!

Software used: Maxon Cinema 4D with Corona Render and Photoshop.
