Just a suggestion

"Advanced" option to crop or UV Tile all images at once? In UVW or Multimap it self
(Yes you can scale, but you can't "stack" images)

Simple use example:

Your texture is 20x100 and you want to put it on 10x100 plank, as a result, you have squashed texture. Possible solutions now?
- Go to photoshop and create +20 heavy halves of texture that you probably won't use for any other project
- Go to each map and manually change the cropping
- Set the cropping in one texture and copy it 20 times then change the path and file
- Set the Tiling of the texture to 0.5 on mass again 20+ clicks

Best Regards

If i understood your request correctly, then that's already possible with existing Corona maps, namely CoronaUVWrandomizer. See attached screen.

Isn't linear controllers even more universal solution accounting for crop as well?

And if you have 2019+ max, then there's OSL UVW node. It seems there's more solutions to this problem, than anyone could have think of :]

Do you know if there are performance drawbacks to very OSL usage in Corona ?

Unfortunately, i don't know, i'm still on max 2016, but i'm interested to hear about this as well, so if anyone knows answer, please chime in :] I think OSL is the best thing that happened to 3ds max materials, since slate editor, so it would be really cool to try it for myself.

In all of my test with any OSL node, render speed is degraded by 50%, and crushed my dreams. :(
Even with one OSL color value node.(2019)
I guess I didn't tested it under 2020, yet.
Corona 5 might have fixed?

Ok that's bad....

I remember Martin's/Deadclown's tests on Facebook but I think those were with VrayNext where there was minimal performance drop.

Worth investigation.
