On the latest beta, when I click on "Setup interactive LightMix", the window from where you can select the lights pops up behind the multipass setup window.
That's a bit annoying, as you have to move the forefront window aside first, before you can proceed.
I'm on a Mac with R26.

Please consider that the base object must have UVW coordinates to distribute the pattern on the surface.


I only now had time to look into this. I came here to add more infos about the scene, but you already provided the solution.
The model is a high poly scan of a skull. I didn't realize that it's got no UVW tag on it. Thank you very much!  :)

I think the Pattern Modifier is a really useful feature. However, I tried to use it on a high poly 3D model and it rendered nothing.

Is there some limitations or requirements to the base object?

Using the latest daily build on a Mac with Ventura.

I've found that removing the entire ChaosCosmos folder in User/Username/ then reinstalling again usually fixes that error on MacOS.

I have this issue since a few weeks with the beta builds of Corona. I thought it might be fixed with the final version, but it didn't.

Cosmos browser is giving me this error message. I download the latest version from the website as suggested. When I try to install it again (wanted to try the advanced options), it says that I've already have a newer version installed.

Known issue - to resolve for now at least, you can set a max size for IR so that it never is larger than that, and this saves you continually changing your final render resolution. Corona -> Preferences -> INTERACTIVE RENDERING section, Maximum Resolution (e.g. 1200 for 1200 wide).

I didn't know about this setting! Thanks alot! This sounds like an easy fix.

I don't know if this is a bug or more like a feature request. I'm not able to smaller rescale the view in the IR. For example, if I set my output dimension to 4000px, I can rescale the view in the final render with the + and i buttons in the toolbar.
In the IR however, this doesn't work. It will start in full size and I can't make it smaller. Because of that, I see myself changing the output dimensions to a smaller value, when I want to adjust something in my scene and change it back to my final output afterwards.
Not very convenient.

Is this a known issue or just for me?

Older C4D versions created the caps of extruded objects as separate objects. What version are you using?

That might be it. I'm on R20.

It seemingly doesn't work with extruded splines. As soon as I convert them to polygon objects, it's working normally.
