Hi,

I want to do a "mockup" for a wall, to be able to try different wallpapers. Used to do this in PS with multiple layers. But can this be done in Corona it will save time an be better too I think.

I think like this, make a "mask" of a wall. Tell it to be transparent in render but keep shadows, reflections and light.

Is this possible?

Hi, yes this is possible with Shadowcatcher.

Check out the official tutorials for Max on our channel, most of the things will be applicable to C4D too:

Thanks houska for that fast answer ! I have now watched the series and the "shadowcatcher illuminator" checkbox does the trick on the Corona Lights. But how to enable this on the new HDRI light? I solved it with the old way "putting a light material on the Corona Sky".

And can I mask the wall so I get transparency in some way?

This is how I set it up.

And this is what I get.
