I think i found bug with multi/sub object map, when assigned to refraction slot. In attached image, both boxes are identical, with faces, that are facing away from camera, having mat id 2. Both have assigned multi/sub materials with simple glass material in mat id1 and id2. The only difference is, that box on the left has instanced materials and box on the right - unique.

I can't explain more clearly with my poor english, hence why i attached max file :]

Edit: btw, it's behaving exactly the same in A5 too, so it's long standing bug. I wonder how nobody hasn't noticed it before.

I think it was noticed before. Generally there is a problem with multi/sub and blend materials, especially when using refraction, we should probably wait for dedicated equivalents.

Thanks maru. I'm waiting for proper blend material as well as multi/sub map with great anticipation.
Do you know by any chance if Keymaster have publicly available a roadmap for future developement of Corona?

They are not the same - one on right also has caustics, one on left not. If I disable caustics on right, it works as expected - attachment. The situation with caustics is more difficult- the problem is caused by the scene being incorrectly modelled - the teapot is assumed to be embedded in 2 layers of glass

Yes, you're right about caustics. I don't know how it's slipped my attention - sorry for that.

But i can't see how "it works as expected", because it's clearly see that in glass on the right refraction is NOT working as expected. I downloaded this scene and checked it and i can't find why according to you it's modeling incorrectly. Am i missing something?
