I have created the hair for my model in zbrush fibermesh. So i have the mesh and want to assign hair material in 3dsmax.
I dont want to use builtin "Hair and Fur" thing for the project. Any ideas how to have good looking hair shader ?

Thank you!

Hey,

Read this first: https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000515606-how-to-render-hair-and-fur-in-corona-

If you are using 3dsmax you can hide the basemesh when you select the whole mesh (elements level). Hair doesn't currently support tip fade or root / tip color. Basically good looking hair has 2 specular reflections 1. one narrow white 2. broad colored that depends on the hair color. Also some translucency + volume scattering is a good idea. You can check my tests here: https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,10546.0.html I can share my hair shader when it's finished if you are interested. :)
