Hi guys,

I was testing  one of my latest scenes, and i did use the latest  legacy daily build in dropbox,  i've found a new bug in the floor's bump i didn't understand but here are some renders to explain :

No Bump :

Bump 0.1

Bump 0.05

I don't know if it is some weird reflection distance or something else...

I've found also that using other bump textures do produce this bug when i increase the bump value juste a little bit.

By this 0.1 and 0.05 you mean bump strength or bitmap's blur?

Where is your light source and what is it?

And what happens if you set blur to 1.0?

You may set "Max normal dfference" to 0.1 and use bump = 0.1.
But for the bump while there are some limitations in the upper limit of value.

It seems that MAx normal difference 0.1 works here

but i don't understand how to configure it depending on the value of the bump, is it a work around for a bug or a correct way or what?
